What did you do this past week?

This past week, I wasn’t able to get a lot done. Because of some medical problems that I was having this past week, I wasn’t able to be as productive as I usually am during the week. I still managed to get the worked that was required of me for the week, but I definitely had to push through it.

What’s in your way?

As of right now, I’m feeling a lot better than I did all of last week, so nothing is currently in my way. I just need to make sure that I stay focused on getting work done this week because I’m a little behind in some of my classes.

What will you do next week?

Next week, I will try to put most of my focus on Phase III of the IDB project. My group is a little behind on this phase, but from looking at what’s needed for this phase, I don’t think it’ll as intensive as the other phases. Of course, I’m sure that my group and I will run into a handful of problems once we start putting everything together. I’ll be focusing most on the searching feature on the backend, so hopefully that won’t be too difficult. I will also make sure to show up to class and complete assignments for my other classes.

If you read it, what did you think of The Interface Segregation Principle?

I have not read The Interface Segregation Principle, yet.

What was your experience of instance methods, class methods, static methods, regular expressions, and relational algebra?

I think I have a good understanding on instance methods, class methods, and static methods. They don’t seem that confusing. Regular expressions, on the other hand, I’m very confused about. They don’t seem to be that confusing once you get to know what each character means, but I haven’t had time to study the notes over regex yet, so they’re still kind of a mystery to me. We didn’t go to deep into relational algebra yet, but I think I understand what’s been taught so far.

What made you happy this week?

Something that made me happy this week was seeing good test results from some medical tests that I had done, so I’m definitely not sick with anything.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My pick-of-the-week is wordcounter.net. It counts your words and checks for writing issues, as well.
